Custom backyard resort by Scottsdale Artist Eli Lucero

Fountain views of deck area, the floors are tumbled travertine imported from Turkey!
I designed this gorgeous fountain, while shopping on the Mexico border I saw various
stacks of cantera stone that was left over from other jobs, I told my client lets buy these scraps
of cantera stone and I will show you what I can do with this, your looking at the result, the only
part of this fountain that was not extra material are the four hand carved cantera stone lions heads, I asked the carvers for happy lions!

Scottsdale Venetian Plaster Artist and Designer Eli Lucero

This past summer one of my clients asked me to design and build and finish a backyard for his wife.
I designed this cabana for the covered portion of their backyard resort. It includes hand carved cantera stone ballisters. A friend of his gave him 4 solid concrete pillars that had been reclaimed from a local bank, I cut those capitals off and order 4 custom Corinthian capital along with a few more pillar and capitals, installed them, filled them with concrete and finished them with marbling glaze, and used metallic on the the Corinthian capitals highlighted with gold! And of course I did the ceiling in Imported Italian plaster to a glass finish.
